As a member of the Savannah Food Co-op, you will have access to local, organic, and sustainable goods at below-market prices in addition to being a part of a thriving and growing community that is interested in eating healthfully and supporting our local food economy.
High Quality Foods
We offer top-quality organic or all-natural fresh produce, dry goods, dairy, pastured meats, locally caught seafood, honey, handcrafted soaps, and more. Many of our products are sourced from local and regional farmers and come straight from their farm to your table.
We offer fresh, organic and sustainable produce from many farms close to Savannah and throughout the southeast region. We source directly from local farms when possible, supplementing through Destiny Organics with items from farther away for things that are unavailable nearby. We offer an incredible variety – over 75 fresh produce items in a given order. And you may order as much or as little as you’d like, 1 carrot or 25 apples, whatever suits your needs.
Our produce boxes contain a variety of organic seasonal produce that is selected by Destiny Organics out of Atlanta. The boxes come in three sizes: Tiny, Small, and Medium. The boxes are often a great value, but you are not required to order a box to order with us!
We offer a truly extensive variety of meats – chicken, pork, beef, lamb, and rabbit – in just about any cut you can think of. And if we don’t have the cut you are looking for, you can let us know, and we will do our best to work with the farmer to get it for you.
Looking for locally caught shrimp or wild Alaskan salmon? We offer several varieties of shrimp sizes and options based on seasonal availability, and beautiful fillets of wild salmon caught in Alaska by a local fisherman.
We have an incredible range of dairy products available from local, non-homogenized milk, cream, half and half, butter, and buttermilk to Georgia-produced all-natural yogurt and homogenized, all-natural milk. We also carry many additional yogurt flavors, sour cream, and cottage cheese.
We are proud to offer farm fresh eggs from local, pastured hens.
We carry amazing artisanal cheeses from two grassfed Georgia dairies, as well as fresh mozzarella and more standard varieties like cheddar, provolone, mozzarella, monterey jack, and meunster.
We offer many varieties of locally-roasted single origin coffee, whole bean or ground. Either way you can be assured of incredible quality and the absolute freshest roast.
We have local honey! You will find local wildflower and tupelo honey in sizes ranging from 6oz to 5 pounds. We also offer a kid’s favorite, honey straws.
We offer many local, fresh-cut herbs – basil, thyme, dill, sage, parsley, and more.
We carry terrific, locally-made soaps that are handcrafted using the finest ingredients. Your skin will thank you.
You will also find a wide array of your favorite organic and all-natural dry goods. We offer canned goods, pastas, rice, breads, crackers, condiments, grains, oils, and much, much more. You may never go to the grocery store again!
We offer Georgia-made eco-friendly laundry detergent along with a great range of ‘green’ household cleaning supplies.
Your membership with the Savannah Food Co-op includes access to a vast selection of organic and all-natural spices and drugstore-type items through the Frontier Natural Products Co-op. You will be able to purchase many familiar brands at below retail prices.
